Varun Nischal
The corporate compliance and dispute resolution practice of our Firm is headed by its Partner -Mr Varun Nischal, who has helped clients in dealing with several complex legal issues.
Mr. Nischal completed LL.B. (H) from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi in 2007 and has been enrolled with Bar Council of Delhi since then. He pursued Masters in Law (LL.M.) from University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles, California in 2009 wherein he specialized in international business transactions, corporate finance law and international arbitration. While at USC he was awarded the prestigious Dean’s Merit Scholarship by the University. Currently he is serving as Member, International Committee (for India) at USC Gould Alumni Association.
Mr Nischal has been retained by several private and public sector corporations on their panel including the Govt. of NCT of Delhi, Hindustan Prefab Ltd., Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Delhi University, Delhi Development Authority etc. Our clients have been regularly supported by Mr. Nischal to ensure labour and HR compliance. He is also a certified POSH trainer with extensive experience in dealing with issues related to Sexual Harassment at Workplace (POSH Act) and regularly advises several private and public corporations in this regard. He has been instrumental in helping our clients in making timely money recoveries through Arbitration process. Mr Nischal has also represented and advised several HNI’s for
their real estate dispute process and family estate planning.
He is a certified Mediator and empaneled with Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre- Samadhan and Mediation Cell at National Consumer Dispute Resolution Commission (NCDRC). He is also a member of Board of Advisors for Non-profit organisations. He is also a member of South Asian Bar Association of Southern California and Supreme Court Bar Association, Delhi High Court Bar Association.
He is a collector of coins and his numismatic hobby led him to co-author a book titled ‘Coins of India: A specialized study with valuation (1835-2012)’.
